CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE

In collaboration with Celladon Corporation, Targeted Genetics is evaluating the utility of its AAV vector technology to deliver genes and gene variants from Celladon’s portfolio that may have therapeutic benefit in the treatment of congestive heart failure.  The National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute estimates that five million people in the United States alone have heart failure, and that a half million new cases are diagnosed annually.
